Employee Takes Petty Revenge On Raging Karen

What we have here is a prime example of just how sweet and satisfying an act of successful petty revenge can end up being. This glorious story comes to us by way of Redditor u/PlayfulYetBored's post on r/tumblr showcasing a hilarious story from a former bookstore employee who stepped in one day when a crazed customer decided they needed to spend their time yelling at a (very good, from what it sounds like) 16-year-old bookstore employee. The Tumblr thread's original poster described how they stepped in to take on the verbal abuse, all the while sneakily letting the unsuspecting customer pay for 10(!) copies of the book they had just purchased. Basically, this Karen chose the wrong manager to get on the wrong side of and didn't even bother to walk away with the receipt, ensuring a long time might pass before they found out about the extra transactions — if they ever bothered to look at a bank statement at all.

There really is something to be said about how frustrating and unfortunate it is that so many young and hard-working employees end up having to deal with some of the world's most entitled individuals.
